Disability Insurance
Short-Term Disability (STD) Insurance
Replaces a portion of your paycheck for up to 26 weeks when you’re unable to work due to illness, accidental injury or pregnancy for non-exempt employees. If you’re enrolling after initial eligibility, a Statement of Health will be required for your coverage to become effective.
Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance
Keeps a portion of your paycheck coming in once your STD coverage ends.
How STD and LTD Work Together:

Pregnancy complications arise and you are put on bed rest for duration of pregnancy
