Additional Options
In speci c geographic areas, Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) medical options are offered in addition to the Cigna My Choice Plans. For HMSA participants (Hawaii), OptumRx is the new prescription drug provider. For all other HMO options, the prescription drug bene t is administered by the medical carrier.
Kaiser is the main HMO provider for our colleagues in certain areas such as California. There are no changes to the plan, and you’ll continue to have access to the network of 22,000+ physicians and pay copays for routine visits.
Medicare Creditable Coverage
Most Macy’s, Inc. medical options provide creditable coverage by meeting Medicare’s minimum requirements for prescription drug coverage. The Kaiser Medical Only option, however, does not. See Page 18 for further details regarding why this may be very important if you or a dependent are or will become Medicare-eligible during the Plan year.
